TIME FOR ME TO RANT ABOUT WORK!
Since the semester started in August, I have NEVER worked on Wednesday. Why? Because I have school.
However, the dumb fuck at my job decided that I should work tomorrow 10-6. I have class till 2:10, because everything after that was cancelled.
They won’t let me call out or even show up later. I have to switch with somebody. So far, I’ve found no one who wants to switch with me.
I probably won’t show up tomorrow OR just show up at 2 because honestly that’s some bullshit.
I’m sorry, but I am going to school, spending a shit ton of money on books and tuition so I don’t have to be a manager at some shitty job when I’m 25+ years old.
Fuck them if they fire me for not showing up on a day that is NOT a holiday, therefore, I shouldn’t be scheduled to work. Thanksgiving, okay, obviously I have off. That’s fine. But the DAY BEFORE is such bullshit.
Preach it gurl. When I quit my job, I flat out told them that school was more important.
